I have a situation where e3 will not switch to Corel from inside the program; I can however run Corel x6 alone. I get the error that the corel wpl.cpg file is not installed and it is in the correct place. I have uninstalled and reinstalled per Wilcom and this doesn't help even removed the temp files. Per Wilcom support they say that Corel is not working correctly because I can't use in import object tool in Microsoft Word and at that point will not help anymore. Wilcom is suggesting that I format my hard drive and reload Windows! I have also been in contact with Corel support and they respond about every 12 hours or so. They have not logged into my computer to try to help me and it's been about a week or a little less. So at this point I'm not sure what to do. I know I'm not reloading windows too many software programs and updates for that. I would really appreciate some help. Thanks in advance

White become Yellowish
Hi!
I was normal used Corel DRAW X6. Than one day when I run Corel DRAW X6 it become yellowish. After few days of exploring a problem I come to next conclusions.
When I use Corel DRAW X6 in Enhance or Pixel view, color of background and color palette is yellowish. In other views, color of background is white but color palette is still yellowish. Also if I run Corel with Default workspace, everything is OK, but if I run Corel with my workspace, I have a yellowish problem.
Apparently, in my Imported workspace, Corel DRAW X6 use System Default Color Profile - LG W2486, even if I set in Corel to use sRGB profile.
Probably problem is in my workspace. Please can someone help me to find where is the problem because I have a lot of changes on Workspace so it would be pain to build workspace again.

Please help-lost document!
In the past, when Corel has shut down, the document I was working on has always saved automatically and when I reopen, it'll ask if I want to use the auto-recovered document. My power went off last night and I was in the middle of a project that of course I hadn't saved but this time there is NO option to pull the auto recovered document! I had been working on it for hours!! Does anyone know how I might be able to retrieve? Thank you!!!!

STILL Constant Crashing in X7
I've put messages on about this before and not got anywhere. Basically, this is becoming a major issue now and I wanted to demonstrate how bad this is. These crashes can occur at any time, sometimes when moving items, often when adjusting text, sometimes when I just move the mouse across the screen.
I'm not even a designer, i'm in charge of print production so 95% of the time all I am doing is opening a file and making a minor correction to files or correcting a spelling error. Here is a screenshot taken from a program called AppCrashView which shows my CorelDraw crashes for the last 6 weeks.

The first crash today happened when I ungrouped a simple logo (the LinkedIn logo as it happens), and the second was when I tried to change the colour of a single line of artistic text.
i've also checked the log on the computer of one of our designers. You can't help but feel sorry for him:

This sort of thing costs a great deal of time and money, especially as the auto-backup system is erratic at best. Could someone explain to me how people are meant to work with this sort of thing happening.

How to open files with filename extensions ".fill" ?
After successfully downloading and installing software of Coreldraw graphic suite X7-Education edition. I got a new folder called “Content X7.” This folder consists of 4 subfolders named: 1) Fills, 2) Image Lists, 3) Photo Frames, and 4) Templates.
Unfortunately I can’t only open subfolder “Fills.” It contains lots of files called Bitmap Pattern, Fountain Fill, and Vector Pattern. All files with filename extensions “.fill”
How can I open that subfolder? Any help would be highly appreciated. Thank you !
(My computer has Windows 7 OS, Service Pack 1, and 64-bit Operating System).

CorelDraw x6 and CorelDraw x7 version numbers in the CDR file (binary or hex)
In previous version of CorelDraw (x5 and before) you could open the CDR file in notepad and look for CDR?vrsn to find out which CorelDraw version created the file.
example:
CDR9vrsn = CorelDraw 9
CDRAvrsn = CorelDraw 10
CDRBvrsn = CorelDraw 11
CDRCvrsn = CorelDraw x2 (12)
CDRDvrsn = CorelDraw x3 (13)
CDREvrsn = CorelDraw x4 (14)
CDRFvrsn = CorelDraw x5 (15)
But now in CorelDraw x6 (16) and CorelDraw x7 (17) the CDR?vrsn no longer exists in the CDR file. How do you tell what version a CDR file was created in (without the CorelDraw app) for x6 and x7 versions?

fill colors change when I open my old files.
Why do my fill colors change in my files when I open them?
These are files I have designed and saved in X6 and when I reopen them the fill colors (and gradient fills in some files also) will change colour. Why does it do this? and how do I prevent this from happening?

On Demand Renewal
So I have to pause my subscription and went into my account and in the subscription options there's "auto renew" and "On Demand". Am I correct in assuming that the "on demand" option will pause the subscription (I'm pretty sure it does because there's a bit fat "renew" button too). And if so, do I have to do anything on the PayPal side of things.
Treehouse (for learning web development) has a similar feature in which you can pause the subscription and go back to it later, and won't be charged, thus nothing is required on the PayPal side of things. It seems like this is the same, but I want to be sure and really don't feel like using up my one free support ticket (really?) to find out...that and the chat option is gone from the website (I'm in Canada).

Cant open Illustrator (ai & eps) files in CDR 9
I bought some vector graphics that have been saved as Illustrator (ai and eps files) and my CorelDraw version 9 will not open them. CRAP !! I really don't want to purchase X7 for $400 and don't use CorelDraw enough to justify that investment. Is there some way I can get these Illustrator files open and back to CDR9 so I can edit them ?
I want to be able to select the parts and pieces in these vector files so I can change the fills, shapes, etc..
Any ideas ?

Is there a way to assign a dedicated language to a text box? ... or to a document?
I absolutely don't know how to get rid of these red squiggles when I'm writing text in one of the languages I did install for CorelDRAW.

Locking
I have Cx7 successfulkly install on Win8.1....however...
when I opn CorelDraw, the page opens BUT as soon as I click anywhere on the page or buttons the spinning timer comes on & it locks up....I have left it for more than 2.5 hours but it will not go further....amy one else get this & possible solutions.
It has been taken thru 'repair' & uninstall/reinstall also

Script Errors and Save Issues in X7
Hi,
I'm running X7 on windows 8. Ever since I've loaded X7 onto my computer I've had constant script errors and saving problems.
My saving problems happens after I've been working on a file for a period of time, Corel won't let me save or save as. So any work I've done is gone.
As for script errors, it happens when I open Corel. But it doesn't happen all the time.
Has anyone had any of these issues?

Creating a serial number sequence
I have a job that requires me to make a serial number for each part. There is 480 parts per tray, 2400 parts a week and somehow 19,000 parts a month. So I need to find a way to have a sequence of numbers that increase by one without manually having to input each number each time before a print.

Roland Color Library not printing correctly - X7 - Windows 8.1, 64 bit
Hi,
I have bought a new computer (Windows 8.1, 64 bit) and upgraded from X6 to X7.
I have a Roland wide format printer and use Roland Versaworks RIP software.
Windows, Versaworks and CorelDraw are up to date.
I also use the Roland Color System Library Palette in CorelDraw.
When i export a file as an .eps and open that file in Versaworks it recognises that Roland Color Library colours are there but they don't print correctly. Grey looks brown for example.
I'm sure there's a setting somewhere i need to change somewhere in CorelDraw?
Any help, much appreciated.

splash and install screens go black
Hey.
After installing windows upgrades on win 7 (64-bit) my Corel X6 products have gone mad.
When i try to open Draw or Paint the program loads to the splash screen and locks.
the splash screen is black and the program does not respond anymore.
I tried to uninstall the X6 Graphics suite but the uninstall screen is Black as well..
I tried to uninstall every windows update to the date the problem started, but no luck.
I have too much info on my computer to do a whole install of all programs, so is there any help for
this situation?

Separation colors missing in print preview
I separated the colors of my image in separation studio and it comes out to 4 colors ( #1base, #2blue, #3turquoise, and #4white top) but when I go to print it in Corel draw, only two colors show up in the color separation section in the print options( #1 base and #4 white) .
For some reason it removed the blue and turquoise from the print order. Anyone have something similar happen to them, if so what's the solution?
