Roland Metallic Texture System Library in Coreldraw X6
Does anyone know how to use / import / create or otherwise manipulate4 the Roland Metallic Texture System Library in CorelDraw X6??
Everything I have found so far seems to indicate that this library is only compatable with Illustrator, but come on - it just a .AI file so probably it's just a postscript fill. Failing that - is there any way to create a full-color pattern fill from scratch that will allow me to define the colors precisely? (i.e. to create a seamless pattern?)
I am using a Roland VS-540 with white & metallic ink and Roland Versaworks 5.1.1
I prefer to do my designs in Corel & not Illustrator...

Photo Paint X7 modifier key.....
Quick question. In Photo Paint X5, if I held down the "alt" key plus the brush or eraser, I could constrain the line to whatever arbitrary angle was needed per click to outline something for a selection - now in X7 that alt key brings up a transparency tool. What's the equivalent constrain-to-other-than-90-degrees key combo in X7? I tried looking in the HELP but came up blank... it's probable that I don't know the exact term to search for.

Exporting for web without trimming
I've created a custom page size 815px X 315px which is perfect for facebook covers. When I export to .jpg corel trims the document to a smaller size ultimately hiding many words. The "selected only" box is unchecked.
If I export to .png it does not trim the file or image.
What setting should I look for so Corel exports the page size exactly as it is?

Spin Button Tutorials?
Will anyone be willing to show me how to implement Spin buttons?
I have used Spin buttons on an "outline" tutorial, but due to advancement of the tutorial it was a little over my head.
I want to try and use the Spin buttons - Value up and Down for contours. Something to get me started.

Should I be able to import .ai with text-on-path?
I've got some purchased stock that exists as .eps and .ai files. None of the graphics containing text on a curve import correctly - the provider is sure I'm doing something wrong. Is there a way for me to open these files with editable text on a path?

How Do I Make My X6 Colors Match IrfanView Colors?
Dear Forum Members,
I have EPS art that displays with vibrant colors when I view the art in either IrfranView or Adobe Illustrator. However, when I import the same art into CorelDraw X6 all the colors display as dull and not at all vibrant like the other two apps.
Obviously, it's a color management issue. I have spent 1 hour tweaking Corel Draw Color Management setting with no success. I thought changing all "Import and Paste Settings" to "Use Embedded Color Profile" would do the trick however dull colors still persist.
In short, I would really welcome anyone out there who knows how to correctly adjust Corel Draw X6 colors to post in this thread. My goal is to get Corel Draw X6 colors to match what I see in IrfranView and Adobe Illustrator.

I look straight after that patches of Corel Grafik Suite X4 (14) find on the Weseite however nothing, there end it with X5 and on the ftp server end it with X3. Where do I receive the patch for X4?

Fountain fill settings menu in coreldraw x7?
Whenever i open the fountain fill menu and choose a custom color from the cmyk pallet, after that when i click on the color palette button, it shows me pantone color palette. IS THERE ANY WAY TO STOP THAT? CAN I SET IT TO ONLY SHOW ME THE CMYK OR THE SELECTED PALETTE INSTEAD OF PANTONE ONES.
THE PROGRAM VERSION I AM USING IS X7.

CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X5 has known compatibility issues
PLUS, I can't install CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X5. Hangs up at "Please wait while Setup configures Visual Studio Tools for Applications." Then returns Error 1117. The request could not be performed because of an I/O device error.

Corel X6 saying that I have an illegal copy
I have a legal copy of X6 from Corel. When my power went out and I rebooted, it reloaded and gave me a message that I had an illegal copy. I have my copy registered and have been using this since 2009. I have work to do today and cannot get a hold of anyone at Corel. HELP!!

export and import pdf won't work
When I try to publish my document to pdf, it won't open in Adobe reader.
When importing a pdf, all the colours are turned into black and all the colors on my color palette did become white.

Colour palette breakdown
Hi everyone,
I'm new there, and very happy to find a community about CorelDraw, my main program for working stuff.
Do some of you already have a colour palette which bug after a few minutes.
Mine look like that:
And I have to close and re-open CorelDraw to be back in normal for a limited time again.
Re-open the palette doesn't work, all the palette will look the same.
I also tried to place a copy in Documents/Corel/Palette, it doesn't work.
Can you help me if you know the solution, thanks in advance.

corel draw 12 from windows xp to windows 8.1
Please Help!
Just blew my mother board (had windows xp).....Went and purchased new computer with windows 8.1
my corel draw 12 installed just fine....but cant import any files in from old Corel files......
Help!!!! My business relies on art generated !!!!!!
Cant copy and past images from google or any other and paste in my corel installed on 8.1 operating system.

Cannot open file
I have Corel Draw 7 (1998) and the Photo-Paint 7 part fails to open a file when right clicking on the file if the filename or folder name has a blank in it. The error message is file xxx not found. Where xxx is the first part of the name up to the blank. It works OK if the full file name does not have blanks.
This was not a problem till recently and Corel Draw 7 does not have the problem.
The same file can be opened from within the program.
My computer OS is Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit SP1.
