It happens to me about 50 % of all time when I'm using the Paper Size dialog to crop an image:
No matter which alignment I select in the Placement drop-down box, PhotoPAINT uses the opposite direction.
This doesn't always happen, but it happens about every second time I use that dialog (and I use it often). It seems the error occurs randomly, probably not initializing some internal program memory location correctly.
This error is sooooooo annoying and frustrating!
Please fix quickly.

Masking hair using Corel Photo-PAINT X6 / X7 - by Stefan Lindblad (CorelDRAW Master)
Anyone know how to generate serialized barcodes with CorelDRAW X6? I need to be able to give it a starting number and range and have the barcodes generated automatically on different pages to then be printed using imposition printing.
When I select the Text Tool and click anywhere on the document to write a text, an "Edit Text" window opens where I must write my text before it appears on the document. Is it possible to disable the opening of this window every time I try to write something? Thanks.
I have just install CorelDraw Graphics Suite X7 and am having a problem changing any printer settings. I have changed printers and installed the latest drivers, but still have the same problem. I have inserted a picture of what comes up.
If anyone knows how to resolve this problem cant they please help.

I encounter the following problem with installing CorelDraw X6, de-installing it, or updating with CorelDraw hotfix or other updates:
- a new window opens, a small window, that cannot be enlarged or minimised;
- nothing happens, only cancel within this window is possible.
- it happens with switched-off virus protection, windows firewall and even in safe mode.
I cannot access CorelDraw anymore, re-install it, de-install it patch it with an update .
Please help.

I'm having a problem saving a file down that's around 37 megs (Around 50 pages) to version 15.
A document with only a few pages, I have no problem with. Anyone with suggestions?

Hi all, first time poster, long time user of Corel for screenprinting art, but still lots to learn !
So, say i have a b/w line drawing as a jpeg scan, how do i in coreldraw, or corel photo paint (as i presume), whats the moves to easily thicken all the lines evenly ? I think in other programs this is called 'stroking'. Thanks if you can help ! Pete.
Hello, I'm no pro graphic artist, but have been using Corel Draw for 2 years so I'm a bit familiar with it. Trying to create a BEVEL effect for artistic text, to be printed as the title on a book jacket, and finding the aliasing is objectionable. Am I doing something wrong? You can see the aliasing in the transition between the two colours.
My settings for BEVEL are:
Soft Edge
Offset: to Centre
Light colour: White
Intensity 77
Direction 167
Altitude: 15
This happens regardless of the typeface I use (including Arial). Appreciate any suggestions!

Hi,
I'm a complete newbie and am working with a file at work. They're asking me if the color tone is right. I have no idea where to find out the color values are in the file. I see that in the lower right-hand corner has a color profile, but it says sRGB IEC61966-2.1 No RGB or CMYK color values.
Could someone point me in the right direction?

A little bug today while using the smooth tool. Smooth, Repel, Attract tools all cannot have their own settings. If you change one each gets the same setting. Hopefully we can get this fixed in the next update.

Trying to install the CorelDraw X7 trail on my PC running Win8.1 x64 and it hangs on the window saying "Initializing the Setup".
The only thing I can do is close the window and abort the installation.
Any suggestions ?
Hello, I am a complete newbie to CorelDraw. I am attempting to trace a blueprint, I have scanned it in and scaled it on the first layer. I created a new layer and began drawing lines. I can't seem to edit the lines in shape mode. I tried to hiding the first layer but that does not work either. I've practiced drawing shapes and lines on a blank canvas and I do not have any problems editing in shape mode, so I am assuming that I am not using the layers right.

In the image with the stethoscope, there is a piece cut out of the outer box at the bottom right. I am trying to recreate that on an object in CDR. How can I do this? Needs to have transparent background.

My color palettes in CorelDRAW X4 are all dull looking. When I import a bright colored graphic, the color comes out looking muted. How can I fix this issue?

The figures I copy from CorelDraw into Word are blurry. Here are the steps that I normally do:
I select the figures that I want to export in CorelDraw. I click on Export for Office. Then when the tab opens, I choose Export for Microsoft, Compatibility, Commercial printing.
This saves the files in a PNG format.
I then open the PNG file, and click copy and paste in word. The figure is blurry in PNG format and it's even worse in Word.
Please advise! Am I doing something wrong. I'm new to CorelDraw.
