Sudenly today I can't change the size og objects by typing in the new hight or width. Have benn 2 weeks on vacation now and last thing yesterday before going home was a lot of updates tin win7. Today startet fine, but after the breake this function dosent work any more. Typing in the new size and hitting enter jus gives me a little flash in the typin windos just to return to the previous size.
Have i turned on some new fucktion or? And restart the machine dident solve it.

What does 'Photoshop Action' mean. I see it on websites next to designer resources images. Is there an equivalent in Corel x5 which we call something else. I Would quite like to buy some of these designs but I am put off as I don't know if I can use them
I have a layout of 80 signs that are 18 x 24 with the same background image in each. Now the background for each sign needs to be changed. Is there a way to replace each one by way of a macro?

Can anyone try this and see if it's just me?
Type a word. Use the shape tool and nudge any of the letters either way. Okay, it works here. So far, so good.
Change the type to something like 200 points. Now try nudging the letters. It no longer works - I can no longer nudge an individual letter in any direction.
Just me or ? Being able to nudge the individual letters (manual kerning) seems to stop at about 150 points, on any font.
I have tried everything, but I cannot get the 'view printable area' to change to landscape. Any suggestions will be appreciated.
While using the XVL Studio 3D CAD Corel Edition x64, as we try to relocate bodies or assemblies into the assembly tree (drag&drop) the bodies and assemblies change space position and orientation depending on which is the new parent in the assembly tree. It might be a matter of coordinate system but we can't find out even in the help guide where are the right settings. In other words we want to relocate bodies and assemblies inside the assembly tree without affecting space position and orientation. How can we do it?
Is possible somehow let's say visit card duplicated 12 times on sheet, by mistake typed a wrong numb. and retype on one to effect all cards?
Using Application.FrameWork.Automation.Invoke "lots of numbers"
Works on 3 computers but 4th one gives this error "Method or data member not found" and the Automation part is highlighted. Anyone know how or what can cause this problem?

I noticed my custom set of shortcut keys are not showing up in the 'Customization, Commands, Macros' section of the options box. The custom assigned shortcut still works thought but this is strange.
Why is this happening and has it been addressed?
Iloaded Corel 9 onto my new laptop with windows 8 and it was working perfectly, today whenI come to use it ever time I try an do something it comes up with the windows help page, does anyone have any idea how to stop this happening
can ANYONE help or relate? I use corel x6 64 bit with windows 7 pro. comp is alienware aurora r4 intel i7-3820 3.60GHz, 16 gb ram... so power should not be an issue here. problem is... corel draw crashes A LOT. I lose HOURS of work at times because the file becomes corrupt. it has NOT saved even though I am manually saving. it has not backed-up files even though set for every 10 minutes. I have worked for hours on designs, saving occasionally, and it backing up every 10 minutes, then when it finally crashes... NOTHING was saved since where I was with the file HOURS before. back-up did nothing, and saving manually was doing nothing. reboot, redo all my work. YAY!
Next... CorelDraw x6 crashes A LOT(in case ya didn't catch that the first time). sometimes WHILE saving, crashes, corrupting file, more lost work, time, and hair! corel will crash while drawing a simple line. it will crash on yours and it will crash on mine. whether 20 pages or just one, one more click and it is done. corrupt files left and right, start again...work all night. insanity is close...its on its way. is it just one more click, or maybe one more day. have no pattern to where it goes wrong, its just been happening for way too long. just when you think the job is done, ya click to save, back to step one.
if anyone else has advice or actually admits they have this problem, has a solution, knows a guy that might know a guy that might know whats wrong, or has legal advice for my insanity plea, please let me know. please don't just say update to x7. if corel will admit there was a problem, and say it was fixed for 7, then it would be a start. so far, "it just me". thanks!

US Geological Survey provides pattern fills (swatches) for use in illustrator, but I haven't worked out how to convert these to CorelDraw pattern files. I have tried opening the PDF version of the patterns in CorelDraw but some of the patterns do not appear.

The main series of interest is "Sedimentary Lithology Patterns (Series 600)".

File this one under the Roseannadanna category "It's always sometin' " Not a huge problem but a dang annoyance.
Corel stores user custom presets settings under %APPDATA%\Corel\CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X5\Custom Data in this instance saved Tone Curve in Photo-PAINT. When you save a Tone Curve it puts the .crv file in %APPDATA%\Corel\CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X5\Custom Data\Tonecurv, but when you go to load the preset the Open Dialog is always inits to my Desktop. Now it used to "remember" the %APPDATA%\Corel\CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X5\Custom Data\Tonecurv folder, but suddenly now is doesn't. In the past all I had to do was traverse the path and is was reset and saved.
Anyone know where this path is saved in CD config? Config file? Registry? Haven't found it yet...

I'm a beginner. I was hoping someone would show me why my first macro doesn't work.
I need a macro that will:
- Find any shape with outline.width = 0.2 mm, but just for the selected objects
- Assign all located outline.width = 0.2 mm with a red color
- Combine all located outline.width = 0.2 mm
