Batch process? Rotate 90°, save and close multiple files?

There has to be a better way to do this.

Every year, I take over 1,000 portraits. Each photo has to be rotated 90° counter-clockwise, saved, and closed. It's boring, tedious, and time-wasting.

Is there an easier way to do this? A macro would only be able to rotate and save one picture, correct?

Any suggestions are welcomed!

 

 

EDIT:

Gotta love Google. Found a free application called ImBatch that does exactly what I wanted, plus a whole lot more if I ever need it. Very easy to use.

Regardless, if there remains a better or smarter way to manage what I described above, please tell me! THANKS!!!!

Hi all,

I've read into the guides and tried to do everything myself, but I just dont have the time to learn or understand any of this. I'm now looking to commission someone to do the work for me.

Can anyone point me in the right direction to find someone who still makes Corel macros?

Am new to corel and just joined this great forum today, I have install  x6

I wish to become experts like all of you someday, I will greatly appreciate anyone who will give me a guide or link that will help me climb this leader of  coral draw graphics mastering faster. Stufs like, tutorial, ebooks etc will be appreciated.

Specifically I will like to know how to import mathematical formulas or diagram done in Microsoft work 2007 into coral draw.

Another problem with the contour tool

Hi,

I've come across yet another problem with the contour tool. In some circumstances it ignores subpaths when generating the contours.

Original without contours (see attachment):

 

Same shape after applying a 3 mm inside contour. Looks just fine.

 

But if I instead use a 3.5 mm inner contour, the innermost subpath is ignored and does not get outlined:

Issue with Print Preview/Print - Separated Doucument Images

Hi just upgraded to Corel Suite 7 - Having used Corel 6 I have created a document with web images and cut to size required and merged into a format desired without issue in the past

Now in Corel 7 All looks good on visual page/monitor - However when I go to print,  these images show as separate unedited images in print preview and of course the same when I print.


I exported same  finished page to a PDF and fine:?  Is this a bug?  or have there been some major changes to Corel 7 as surely whatever appears on visual screen should be the finished article and print should reflect what I have created no? - can anyone help?

3d rorate not working

stupid question - why is the 3D rotate effect disabled in the Extrusion docker?  I drew a rectangle and I can't edit and apply the 3d rotate.

Corel X7 - save and unable to close document - fix?

Hi there
Randomly, but more often that not, I can open a document, make changes, save the document, but then I cannot close the document without opening Task Manager and shutting down the whole application.
Despite further amendments the save button will not re-appear unshaded and the document will not close.
I've persevered for months hoping for an update that will fix this problem, but to no avail.
I cannot see anyone on the forums with a similar problem.
Using version 17.1.0.572 of CorelDRAW X7 on a Windows 8 PC.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Okay, anyone else have problems CLOSING a file in Draw X7?

Sometimes I'll get this message when I try to close a file:

"Some of the documents could not be closed, because tasks are being performed in the background." This on a file that's been saved already, nothing else is being done to it, there are no other files open - but IT WON'T LET ME CLOSE THE DANG THING. I have to force-close the entire application. See the screenshot. Anyone else have this happen?

Texture fill

Hi there, 

I am attempting to print a metal texture fill, when printed it changes colour. it is on cmyk settings, matching my printer settings. It seems to sporadically change between cmyk and rgb though, i am getting a pinkly purply hue over the top, I've tried changing the print settings and i am confident that it is not a problem with that process, however if anyone has had issues with that i would like to hear about it.... additional info ...  I am using the export to Jpeg feature, Ive been told there has been no change to the textures since they came out, however i am using version 14, but where i am exporting to jpeg im not sure that is relevant. Once it is a jpeg it is put into posterprint and then a roland print queue, we have regular issues with printing rgb schemes correctly, however with the mettalic texture im using, it seems that doesn't make a difference. (this is for the intention of sublimation)

any advice is much appreciated

Why it is so slow during working into a power clip and shows Not Responding some time...??

I cant understand the reason to be so slow while working/correcting a power clipped image. I have 64bit intel core i7 processor and 12GB RAM. Do i need any configuration setting problem in my COREL.

Hello everyone!  Recently I have noticed that my Corel X5  does not handle large imported images very well.

 

My current computer is

  • Dell AMD Athlon II X2 240 Processor 2.80 GHz
  • 4.00 GB RAM
  • 64 Bit Operating System
  • 931 GB Hard Drive

I thought about looking for a new computer if needed.  Any suggestions on things I should look for to insure it handles large files and several processes going on at once?

We need to be able to scale letters in Paragraph text. Sometimes you need just that little to fit a lot of text in small space.

When I run this macro, the status bar freezes and I can't refresh it until I close Draw.  Why is this happening?

Edit Bitmap Not Working in X7

I recently upgraded from X6 to X7.  I cannot get the edit bitmap feature to work, it is grayed out.  I had this same problem when upgrading from X5 to X6.  That problem was rectified by a re-install and reboot.  After perusing the forum, I have tried, to no avail the following:

1.) Did a complete uninstall of all Corel products.  Ran CCleaner to clean up registry entries.  Did a complete reinstall.  Rebooted.  Did not fix.

2.) Went into both Corel Photo-Paint and CorelDraw and reset the "Associate" file extensions under Tools/Options.  Made sure that CPT was selected in Corel Photo-Paint.  Double checked the association in Windows explorer.  Did not fix.

3.) Reset my workspaces (F8) command during start-up.  Did not fix.

4.) Removed my workspaces under C:\Users\sccarter.DDS\AppData\Roaming\Corel\CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X7\Draw\Workspace.  Restarted CorelDraw.  Did not fix.

5.) Uninstalled Corel Windows Shell.  Reinstalled Corel under custom options and installed the shell.  Did not fix.

 

6.) Waved my magic wand, did a chant, said a prayer.  Did not fix.

I am running Windows 7, 64 bit version of x7.

If any other users have experienced this same problem and was able to fix it, please forward the magic potion to me... it would be much appreciated!

Combine Command

Hi,

I have a list of text component i.e.

Rotary Feeder 1
Rotary Feeder 2
Rotary Feeder 3
CYCLONE DISCHARGE VALVE
DUST COLLECTOR DISCHARGE VALVE

After combining it

CYCLONE DISCHARGE VALVE
DUST COLLECTOR DISCHARGE VALVE
Rotary Feeder 1
Rotary Feeder 2
Rotary Feeder 3

How come cannot be according to the way I want as per the above one before combining?
