Hi....I'm new to photo editing in Corel and need some help. I've been working on product photos and cropping out the background. I've learned how to do just that. However, the image is imported as hi-res, but once I'm done editing and saving it saves the image as a low-res photo...any advice on how to fix?

I am new here, I just updated my computer and reinstalled Corel. All of the tools in Photo Paint jump from where the cursor is placed to the left and up at a 45 degree angle. This happens with the mouse and my pen tablet both so I know that it has to be a Photo Paint setting and not a hardware issue. Totally frustrating and I can't seem to figure it out. Help!
Something happened to cause Corel to misbehave. The menu bar disappeared, so I tried to run a repair. That didn't work so I had a tech try to fix it After five hours, he couldn't get it to install.
Below are his notes. Any ideas about what's happening? Luckily, I have a new computer being delivered in a couple days. However, I would like to know what's going on:)

I am creating simple tints of Pantones and publishing to PDF. All of a sudden any tints are appearing very dark, almost black, in the resulting PDF. Printing to Primo PDF works as expected. And if I import the PDF back into Drwa it looks correct. Any ideas?
Anybody using this with X7? Only lists up to X6. Would really like to add this to our 3 workstations.

Using CDR X6, and today the screen has gone yellow, ONLY in CDR, all other programs screen is normal, where you would expect white, screen is white. In CDR, the entire work area is tinged a dirty yellow. The pages I'm working on as well as outside that page, yesterday it was white, today yellow. I've restarted CDR & windows. Using Win7. When printing, the white background is white, so this appears to be a screen issue only in CDR. Any ideas?
When attempting to stitch two files together click on Image - Stitch - I then add the two files I want - I get a full screen on my 27" monitor and the whole stitching size area is 7" inches across and 4" high and located in the upper left size of monitor. The area outside this area is all blank except for the [minimize and exit X] in the upper right corner. I can not get this to change to a larger size. I can open Corel Photopaint X6 and it works just fine there. arg!

Dear all,
I was experimenting by creating some two-color pattern fills, but I can't seem to delete the test patterns. My computer administrator did not install Corel Connect, so I'm wondering if this part of the problem. I've tried searching corel folders on the machine but can't seem to locate the fills. I have found the standard pre-installed *.fill files though.
Your help is much appreciated.

I work with CorelDraw and Photo Paint since ages and never had problems with it. Now suddenly my PP X7 doesn't want to save as JPG anymore. Trying to, gives me the filter window without any image shown and whatever I do next (click OK or simply closing the Window) makes PP stop working , impacting even mouse movement and after a while just exits.
I already did a re-install (no use), put the computer back to a time before my last succesfull jpg-save (no use) and shut down real-scanning of my McAfee virus scanner (also no use).
I also tried starting with F8 pressed and replying "yes", I ran the application as administrator, I ran it in Windows 7 compatibility mode...nothing helps.
I read a lot of almost similar problems with X5 (SP3) on a Windows 7 64bit (just like my system), and there seems to be even a hot fix for that situation, but nothing on X7.
I can't find anything about support I might be entitled to, being a Primium subscriber, so I came here with my problem. Can anyone help me?

I know it is a little bit stupid, but I have a problem with the sizes of the window when I open the Corel programms. I work still wiht Window XP and as you can see in the picture (full screenshot) the window starts all the time bigger than the display.
How can I solve this?

The plug-in developed for CorelDraw x7 x32/x64 version works fine prior to update1. It seems that the function call AddCustomButton fails with this latest update. I am using the new x7 typelib vgcoreauto.tlb and the following code fails:
VGCore::ICUIControlPtr pControl = m_pApp->CommandBars->Item[_bstr_t("Standard")]->Controls->AddCustomButton(VGCore::cdrCmdCategoryPlugins, _bstr_t("Command"), 0, VARIANT_TRUE);
Any idea why this call is failing?

Ever since I upgraded to X7, when I publish a PDF file from my CorelDraw document, the PDF file is blank. It is completely empty. All the pages show up - they are just empty.
This happens with any type of PDF - for web or for print.
When I try to publish it again and overwrite the old one, it is still blank.
But when I delete the old one and try to publish again, sometimes I get a perfect PDF, other times it is still blank.
I've never had this problem before X7. It is a little irritating when I'm in a hurry and need to send a client a PDF.
Any help on how to fix this would be much appreciated!
