I am looking for the best(s) CorelDraw eBooks, in particular for the ellipse tool.
I have watched a lot of very good tutorial videos. However, there is a certain amount of information that is lost through audio and video with the tutorials. I want to supplement
learning through tutorials on line and eBooks.
Any suggestions?

I needed to reinstall X5 to my computer which I've done successfully in the past and in going through the process this time, I got Error 997 which has something to do with I/O overlapping processes. I saved the CD data to my hard drive and installed from there, no luck, tried installing in Safe Mode and no luck, tried installing to my second 500GB hard drive which is empty and same story. I then downloaded and tried a trial version of X6 and it gave an "Access denied" message at the 69% point and a few more times after that. The computer is an HP with Core 2 Quad, 8200 2.33 GHZ processor, 6 GB RAM. Other than a loud fan, I don't have any problems with it. I installed an old game I had lying around just to make sure something would install and it did. Please help! Thank you.

I think this was reported, but just checking.
When I crop a bitmap, the image is not really cropped when viewed in wireframe.
Ever since I upgraded to X7, when I publish a PDF file from my CorelDraw document, the PDF file is blank. It is completely empty. All the pages show up - they are just empty.
This happens with any type of PDF - for web or for print.
When I try to publish it again and overwrite the old one, it is still blank.
But when I delete the old one and try to publish again, sometimes I get a perfect PDF, other times it is still blank.
I've never had this problem before X7. It is a little irritating when I'm in a hurry and need to send a client a PDF.
Any help on how to fix this would be much appreciated!
I have tried everything, but I cannot get the 'view printable area' to change to landscape. Any suggestions will be appreciated.
How do you make a path in the center of a font (saddlebag or Arial black) using x5?
Has anyone else had a problem with X6, where clicking certain options causes the window to shrink? I have a high resolution screen on my laptop and because CorelDraw does not scale well, I have set the screen resolution down to 1920 x 1080 and increased text size in the control panel and the menu icon size in CorelDraw options. This works well until I select certain actions -- New from Template, for instance, or Export... and then select PNG. Then the maximized screen will shrink and move to the corner of the screen, the icons shrinking to default size. If I save and close and the reopen the application, it all returns to normal. Until it happens again. I'm running on Windows 8.1.

I'm a spotty Corel user, trying to get back into it. Using CD11, I have created a black and white graphic image that I'd like to open in my iMac using Photoshop. I select the image and have tried exporting as a TIF, publishing as a PDF, and I'm saving to a USB stick. The files are listed, but when I try to open them in PS, they are blank? I must be doing something wrong here. Maybe I'm screwing up the eject on the Windows machine with Corel? It says save all the files and continue... I've already saved this file so why am I not seeing anything on my iMac screen?
Its probably obvious to a daily windows/corel user... but I'm lost.

1. The community (which I am new to) seems personally offended by the title. Rather than insult these individuals, I have changed the thread title.

Can anyone tell me how I can select two nodes and the create a node directly in between them? Meaning geometrically in the exact center of the two selected nodes?
I need to close the following curve (curve with 7 nodes, coreldraw says) without changing any angles or changing the size length of any of the sides. It must stay like it is. The interior white area should be fillable. But when i close the curve, it fails. Any helps greatly appreciated.

I am a graphic designer working in kerala, One of the South Indian state Kerala people using to communicate with the language MALAYALAM so nowadays the Indian government proved MALAYALAM language as a national language list.my problem is corel draw letest versions(X3,X4,X5,X6,X7) Have problem with Malayalam typing fonts only one letter(nda)is not appearing or some error coming on the corel draw latest versions,but Corel draw 12 Malayalam fonts working perfectly !!!.so all kerala (one of the Indian state) were printers and designers using corel draw old version .You know kerala's 75% (including around 1.5 lack graphic design studens and around 2 thousand Designers)are depending to typing or design by the Corel Draw draw 12 old version becouse the latest versions have that problem that i mention before.so please solve the problem if we looking for the corel draw latest versions Corel draw 12 have some limitations.if you can solve the problem,it is more helpful us.I hope that you can understd me,If you need any help surely i will help you.

NB: malayalam typing we using the Indian goverment devoloped indian language supported software LEAP OFFICE ISM.3.0 OR ISM 3.04 I mean If we using by the ISM corel draw12 working perfectly,the other CorelDraw versions(X3,X4,X5,X6,X7,)are working but except malayalam fond letter(nda) the letter nda is not appearing
After a reboot of my system (Win7 Pro 64bit, quad core i7 2.93GHz, 8GB ram, SSD, 30mbps broadband) both Draw and PhotoPaint took a very long time to load (3-4 minutes) the first time I started them. Starting either program for a second time is very quick (opening in 3-4 seconds). Does anyone know why this would be?
