I should add that this is far more than a minor irritation. We have thousands of files with cloned objects which need to be accessed and modified over the next few weeks - it will be devastating if there is no quick workaround or fix.

For some reason now when I import a high resolution bitmap file into Photo Paint for editing it reduces my dpi to an extremely low resolution. It just started doing this today. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

I use the label setup a lot, as a large part of my business is digitally printing die cut (or more precisely, kiss-cut) labels. I have more than 70 user defined layouts. Printing digitally, of course, it is always more cost effective to print on larger sheets, so I want to start printing labels on larger sheets (11x17 or 12x18) as the click charge is the same regardless of the sheet size.
My problem is, it seems the labels can only be designed on 8.5 x 11 sheets. I cannot find a way to setup a larger sheet. Does anyone know of a way to change the sheet size on user-defined labels? Is there perhaps a macro that can work around this apparent limitation?
I realize I can achieve some of the same effect with imposition layouts, but I cannot fine tune positioning this way to ensure my print lines up with the pre-cut label sheets.
Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated.

but in some file where outline contain Changed Nibstretch value, Behind Fill, ScalewithImage with transparency applied is being deleted in refine process in kodak prinergy evo.

Dear Corel users
My question is maybe more of a creative one than a technical one. I want to make an illustration showing that a moving particle has hit a target particle at rest resulting in a collision, where three new particles have been created. They are moving away from the collision point with high velocity. I have been giving it a try, as shown below, but I am not entirely satisfied, especially not with the two particles from the past creating the collision. They are both gone after collision, but three new particles have been created after collision - Particle Physics is weird! Maybe somebody can come up with a good idea on how to make a nice informative illustration. At the moment I am using transparency to show the fact that the particles are moving ...Maybe I will need two illustrations to cope with the past and the future?

Hi all, I am trying to make CMYK printing plates for process work. How would I take my picture and divide it up into CMYK so I can print each color one at a time onto a polyester plate? I use corel X4 and my printer for the plates is an HP 5100. Can this even be done? Thank you so much for some help as I need to get these plates made. Thank you and thank you!

In the object manager docker, is there some way to turn off the information that appears when you hover the cursor over an item? I found that turning off tooltips does not affect it.

My work computer HD crashed, had to get a new one and re-install Corel X5 . Now, when I export an eps file, it comes up as a .cdr file. The work around has been to select any other filter first, and then re-select an .eps format. I discovered that method by dumb luck. Then it will work. It will also work if I rename the .cdr extension to .eps extension after the file is created.This is the weirdest bug I have seen. It did not do it on my original hard drive and does not do it on my home computer. Running Win 7 64 bit. I have tried a repair but no luck.
I have been working on a fairly simple website for a few months now using Website Creator X6. Everything was working well every time I tested the site internally. Now all of a sudden, the program is telling me the NOD file is damaged and that it cannot be recovered. I then get a message directing me to read "recover.txt" in the Website Creator directory for "alternative" ways of recovering the data.
The problem is, "recover.txt" doesn't exist.
I have tried importing the internally published pages to recreate the site, but Creator tells me the pages are "too large."
It also appears that Creator stopped creating backups of the NOD file.
How am I to recover this data so I can publish the site online? How could the NOD file have become corrupted in the first place? (I frequently got messages that the file was corrupted when I loaded it, but Website Creator always recovered it.)
I am not happy with the stability of this program.

I have a book of 240 pages, which I need to print in sections of 16pp. But over two sheets - so not just one... Does anyone know how I can set this to be correctly imposed? I need two sheet with 4 pages up, double sided, one folded within the other so the order of pages is as follows:
Sheet 1 - pp. 1, 16, 8, 9
sheet 2 (back of 1) - pp 15, 2,10, 7
sheet 3 - pp 11, 6, 14, 3
sheet 4 (back of 2) - pp 5, 12, 4, 13
I know that I will have to send the sections separately - I.e. pp 1 - 16 = first section, pp 17 - 32 = second section etc... but how can I see the two sheets, how can I change the page numbers ? Does anyone know a clever trick how to set this up?
I have tried to choose from presets of layouts - the book is to be prefect bound, but there is not an option for it - or not an obvious one I can see...

I need to cut out letters from plastic on a laser cutter. I use "no fill" and a hairline outline and it works fine. But occasionally I want to change a font to be "thicker" or have a thicker line but still maintain the hairline outline for cutting. Can anyone tell me how to do this? I can get thicker lines on screen by using the contour tool but can't figure out how to remove the fill and keep the hairline outline. To complicate matters, I need these letters to be joined together, so I also need to use the weld tool.

I use my C drive for Windows and only for Windows. I have pointed Documents (I am on Windows 7) to a folder on my D drive. However, Corel Connect has My Documents pointing to the default location on the C drive. Is there a way to correct this?

When setting a URL link to selected text in a text object, the link style (blue w/ underline) is not preserved after save, close & reopening. The url is still set if you select the same text.
The biggest issue is when publishing to PDF, those links do not get published as it did in previous versions of CorelDRAW. This breaks thousands of our documents when publishing to pdf since we have upgraded from X3 to X6. Does anyone know of a solution to this. This is a show stopper for us using X6.
