There is something wrong with the half point line thickness icon. Go to tools/customize/commands and drag-drop the half point outline thickness icon to your workspace. now draw a line and change it's thickness using that icon. draw another line or copy that one and give it a hairline thickness. FOLLOW THESE STEPS EXACTLY. they will be the same thickness.
THIS IS A BUG. please try this and report back.

I use custom shortcut for Nudge (Ctrl+Alt+N) and Units (Ctrl+Alt+U) in Coreldraw X6. now I have installed coreldraw x7 and seen that this custom shortcut not working in X7. I have also tried X7.1 but nothing changed.

When i try to activate it from the Application Launcher it says that this hotkey is being used alredy by this system?

Hi. I have an old version of Draw7 which I have been using for years. At some stage you could get service packs for Corel, which I downloaded and installed as they were available. I recently had to re-install my software but no longer had the service pack files and they are no longer available from Corel. My existing saved files won't open as they say they were created from a newer version, presumably because of these service packs. Is it possible to get a copy of these service packs?
I currently use CDX6 on Win 8.1 Pro. I hope to acquire X7 soon. Am I right in thinking X7 does not come with content on the disk as X6 does? This being the case, would it be a good idea to keep X6 installed to access this content without having to download?

We have a SCCM 2007 environment and need to deploy CDx7.
We need to deploy the software and allow the user to request a license key from the department that handles licensing. Is it possible to perform a silent installation without a license key. The user will then request the license after they open the program? I have read through the CDx7 network deployment document and found nothing there as well as on Google.
Any help or ideas are welcomed.
Each time I include a certain email address in my typesetting of a letterhead it changes the email address setting to blue colour and underscores it. I want it to remain black and not be underscored. What can I do?

Hopefully my picture displays properly so I explain my question better. I have a template made which is basically 14 boxes. In each box gets 1 name. The names are all different lengths but the font size is the same. Since there is 100's of names and I don't want to individually center center each name in the box, is there any way to set it up so I can just drag each name to each box and it will automatically center it?
keep in mind I have little experience working with Corel products. if it makes a difference on 1 computer I am running an old Corel 9 from 1999 i think but on another computer I have access to Corel X5 suite.
any input would be appreciated,

I have come across a problem with SVG export and I cannot find a solution to it.
We need to export corel design templates to SVG, but our design templates may contain bitmap images.
I know SVG is meant for vector graphics and etc, however this is the requirement we have to deal with.
So, if a corel file has a bitmap, in SVG it comes pretty OK in quality. However, if that image has a transparent background - after SVG export image becomes very bad. I am using PNG.
I have attached the file, that has a problem. Original bitmap was perfect in quality, so this is a clear exporting issue. In addition, if I add a white background to my bitmap - it gets exported well.
Did anyone face this problem before?
I admit I'm a total novice to this software but can someone give me some advice when it comes to using the files or images I find on CONNECT?? If I find one I like I can save it to the tray but #1 I don't know how to get it into my project without the watermark and #2 if I find one that's on like a sheet of more than one example I don't know how to single out just one and use it off the sheet.
Can anyone give me any help???

This has been happening for a long time, since X3 at least (currently using X6). If I select an object and then click and drag the numbers in the object position box then type in a new value, sometimes the object moves, sometimes it doesn't. I don't see any pattern to when it works or not. Sometimes the new value stays sometimes it doesn't. If it stays and the object didn't move then I can just click in the box and press enter then the object moves. It does the same thing with X and Y coordinates.
Anyone else seeing this? Any suggestions on what's going on?

any good tutorials on how to do this?
currently I am using duplicate function to line up images but they are a pain to line up exactly in large numbers.

I received Engravelab with my laser engraver and it's SUPPOSED to work "seamlessly" with CorelDraw. Well...if I have something open in EL and I want to insert an object from CD, it crashes EL and shuts it down. Has ANYONE had a similar issue?? CADlink isn't much help!

Apologies if this has been covered elsewhere, or something basic I should know. But I've combed the forums, the help files, as well as doing a general web search, and I cannot find the answer.
The issue: When I print, my documents margins are off. For example, a 3.5 " x 2" business card, all content contained within boundaries. I've tried it as a single card, making a full page (for Avery sheets) with the imposition layout tool, and well as a full repeated page of 10, on a document sized 8.5" x 10". I've adjusted gutters, margins -- basically anything I can find that's editable -- and no matter how it looks in the screen print preview, it prints slighty off, which on a perforated sheet pretty much ruins them all.
In regards to my above example, my left & right margin are 0.75", and my top/bottom margins are 0.50". There is no space between the 2-across/5-up cards. Again, looks fine on my screen preview, but prints 'slightly' to the left. I've gone so far as to adjust my graphics, moving them slighty to the right to compensate -- still fails.
I hope someone has the solution. I'm about to tear out my hair from frustration!!

I am facing this weird problem of late
I typed a certain matter in normal font with black color but the moment I added an email ID to the text, The color of the text changed to blue with an underline. Please read that the color of the text changed from black to blue, Initially in Corel Draw X6 only the color of the email ID changed which was quite normal as we could change it back to black and remove the outline. But here I am trying to change the color from blue to black and remove the underline it just doesnt happen no matter how much I click on Black fill and Underline Tab.
This is kinda weird
I recently went through the X7 Update so I don't know whether this is an update issue or on old issue.
Though I removed the automatic hyperlink option from the options - Text Properties - Quick Correct.
But that's not an issue. The issue is if the automatic hyperlink is checked, the color changes to blue and refuses to change to any other color n refuses to remove the undreline.
