X6 Print Merge not recognizing previously used .txt files for a print merge

Every month I print address labels for a mailing, changing it slightly each month.  I print 30 labels per page with my logo inserted in a .cdr file and then merge the addresses from a .txt file.  I utilize <field1> to <field30>, matched on both the .txt and .cdr files.

Since acquiring X6, I am not attempting to perform the merge again this month but it will not work.  It work previously without fail.  The error message I am getting is "Wrong file format or could not open."

The .txt file is ANSI formatted and has always worked with Corel 9 - which is the previous version I had (old - I know!).   The following is the format in the .txt file (of course with \field1 to \field30\):

30

\field1\

\Name

Address1

City

Postal Code\
