Hello everyone. Hopefully someone here can help me with a problem. When I try to open photo paint x3, a box pops up that says "Valid workspace file not found at the path specified." I click OK, then the box pops up again. Click OK once more then the program closes. Does anyone have any ideas what could be causing this? I thank you in advance for any help you can provide.

EPS export crashes
I was recently given a new CorelDRAW X6 update/service pack within the last month. Since then, when I export a Corel image to EPS, CorelDRAW X6 crashes. Every time! Anyone sharing in the fun. Be sure and SAVE before you export!!!
Any ideas anyone?

Invert not working
I Have the latest version 16.3.0.1114.
Invert does not work. When I click on it, nothing happens. It is not grayed out. It's been doing it since 16.2. Any ideas why it does not work? How can I get it to work.
Currently, I have to use X3 or X5 to invert stuff.

I have recently started working with CorelDRAW Technical Suite X6. I am trying to figure out if there is any way to customize the Workspace, change the color of the entire background like you can do in autodesk autocad? Are there any plug ins I can download for different menu bars or completely change the layout of everything?

CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X6.3 Hotfix1 Available For Download!
This hotfix addresses the following critical issues reported by customers. The hotfix can only be applied to software already updated to CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X6.3 (16.3.0.1114):
- When you export files to EPS with the Selected onlyoption enabled, multiple pages are created in the exported file.
- CorelDRAW stops responding when you skew linked groups together with other selected objects.
- Some effects cannot be applied to vector objects.
- The Alt key cannot be used for drawing arcs with thePolyline tool in a customized workspace that contains custom keyboard shortcuts.
- CorelDRAW stops responding when opening files that contain cloned text.
- Some files print additional blank plates.
- When you work with text in Corel PHOTO-PAINT, theText anti-aliasing control reverts to Soft.

Draw - feature request regarding line connector tool
When you use the line connector, it's supposed to turn two objects into one. This would be great and speed things up rather than combining objects and then drawing lines etc between.
BUT, when you use the tool, the objects are kept separated, and a connector object shows up.
It would be great if the 2 objects actually became ONE like the mouse-over description says will happen.
One good reason for the change is that the line that's made can't be changed via the node tool... so you can't make it a curve or add cusps at the end etc.

pdf extraction
hi all
Is there any possibility to extract the desired channel from the pdf. Please it should not from coreldraw i am asking. For instance i have to forward the pdf to imagesetter and required of only one channel, then how shall i forward the file with the only putting the desired channel. If doing so the size is also reduced.

color changes when open or import DWG
When I open or import a DWG into CorelDraw X6 it changes the colors (see image).
I tried changing the Color Management Settings to Minimal Color Management which is suppose to preserve the original color when opening, importing, and pasting, but that doesn't work.

Color Adjustments not working anymore
Effects->Adjust->Brightness/Contrast/Intensity
Effects->Adjust->Color Balance
Effects->Adjust->Gamma
Effects->Adjust->Hue/Saturation/Lightness
None of the above work [as expected] any more. I think this happened after the 6.3 Update.
Maybe someone can confirm.

To replicate the problem:
1. Fire up CorelDRAW
2. Draw a closed shape and fill it with a color of your choice.
3. Open any of the above effects mentioned in the first post.
4. Try moving any of the sliders and see what happens. (Try with both the preview button locked and unlocked.)
I am sure you will notice what I mean. Surprisingly, they all work as usual, once you convert the vector object to a bitmap!

Graphics cards ideal for coreldraw
Any recommendations on the best <$400 graphics card for use with coreldraw - needs to drive a 30" monitor at 2560x1600 and a 21" at 1600x1200.
I've been using ATI cards for years now. I'm wondering if the nvidia cards offer a better performance/price ratio and whether that performance comes to bear at all with coreldraw and layered multiple object transparencies, live text, lenses, etc...

Reverse Colors (Code) Macro?
Im in a profession where I do a lot of swaping between two colors. Basically reversing them.
Is there a Simple Macro Code out there that could accomplish this? I would be forever in your debt!
Oh - fyi : this is between objects. Not images. I dont want to invert or anything.

Importing PDF, changes layout of PDF once in CorelDraw
I've created a template and would like to import a PDF over the top of it. The problem is, when I import the PDF, the text jumps in the PDF as you can see below. As you can see the original file is on the right hand side.
Any ideas why this is happening?

X6/16.3 Dimension Tool, doesn't remember default settings
Experiencing problems with the dimension tool since upgrading to Corel Draw X6 at this end, which hasn't been resolved with the updates.
I work in mm. The system doesn't remember the default settings if I change my preferences for it to measure in mm via the customisation window or the toolbox as it used to in previous versions. When I open the program again or start a new document, the measurement default keeps changing back to ["] (inches). Sometimes, it will jump back to inches after I change the default to mm when I'm working on the same document.
Same problem seems to be happening with the other units of measure available as well.
Current workaround - the only time it seems to remember my settings is if I change the default to mm and then save a document.
I can fwd a video screen capture which shows the problem if that would help.

Print Preview
I use Print Preview in X4 for all printing - great tool.
When I use Print Preview in X6 the print options are not saved when I exit Print Preview to make adjustments.
I make the correction - go back into Print Preview and all options have gone back to default.
Is there anyway of correcting this.
