I was working on a file to make t-shirts for my son. When I created it, I started it on another computer, I have X3 on my computer but don't have access to the other one anymore. Can someone convert this to an older version for me?

How to simulate wood in CDX7
I have a childrens book that has a boat on the front cover. The story is about Noah and the Ark. I want to advance my CorelDraw skills and thought this would be a good thing to learn. So the question is how can I create a similar look in CDX7? The grain of the wood matches the contour of the ship etc. Any help is appreciated!

Update Issues CorelDraw X6
Wow, amazed I have managed to get this far, but even more amazed at how difficult Corel make it to get any type of tech support.
So hoping someone here may be kind enough to help.
I am running CorelDraw X6, version 16.1.0.843. I now want to be able to apply any patches/updates to keep this application as up to date as possible without upgrading to X7 yet. Simple? You'd think so?
Downloaded the update CDGSX6Update4.exe, went through the installation process etc. Now have the following message:
"Your Update was not installed. There is a problem. Unfortunately we were unable to verify your product status which prevents you from accessing product updates or using online content. For assistance please contact corel support at www.corel.com/member support!
Of course, no joy at the link shown, no way of contacting Corel except an 0800 number (we are in the UK) which gives option 1 as tech support then tells you thats no longer available, or option 2 sales where they just tell me they are not tech staff.
The software is genuine, but we do not pay for support. However surely that cannot exclude us from the smallest patches and updates?!
Any info or advice would be much appreciated!
I am actually shocked at how difficult it is to get any contact with Corel.

Request feature: closed corners using dashed lines
I would like to request for an option to have closed corners when using dashed lines.

The size of the raster image changes.
Corel X6. At the document there is an object of raster graphics. This object is scaled, then - copy/paste. Problem that the object is inserted in an initial size, i.e. any operations of scaling are ignored. Thus in the history of cancellations there is an additional line of "Bitmaps fix dpi". I have one such problem? And how to fix this problem?

upgrade ways
Hello,
I own a "CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X4 Special Edition", German,
DCDGSX4DESP01.
Just one little question: Am I allowed to upgrade from this program to a "regular" CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X5, X6 and X7? I read different
opinions about the special edition, so I ask here in the forum.

Display grainy
I recently upgraded to a higher resolution monitor and now CorelDraw looks grainy compared to all the other programs. Is there a way to reset the screen resolution inside Draw? I tried holding F8 at startup.

Fonts with borders
Hello
I'm new to this group, I go by Keener, thanks for reading this.
I use a laser cutter to make numbers and crests for hockey jerseys. Just started using Corel to design mostly letters and numbers. I'm not sure about the best/quickest way to make a border around the numbers in a specific size then be able to separate them both so I can cut them in different colours.

Corel X5 Welding problem, graphic disappears!
I am trying to weld a taurus bull overlapping a circle, when I weld most of the bull disappears.

CutContour line not recognized in PDF or EPS exports
Hi guys,
I use Pantone 186 C as CutContour line in Corel X3 and when I export the file to PDF or EPS the Caldera Visual Rip8 recognizes this line as a Cut line. When I try to do the same in X6 or X7 Caldera doesn't recognize the line anymore.
Any of you have the same problem?
The guys from Caldera sent me a color palette to add to my palettes but it's in .ai format and I can't open it on X7. Do you know any way of converting a .ai palette to a .xml palette?

VBA Undo
Does anyone know of a way to use the undo command to undo to a certain command name? Normally when you click the undo button, it goes back one command at a time. In VBA you can program a specified number of "undo's". When you click on the little arrow next to the undo button, you can select which command you want to go back to. So I am looking for a way in VBA to go back to a specified command that sometimes may be 5 "undo's" back, or sometimes 7 "undo's" back. Is this possible?

Opening a CDR file opens CorelDraw X7 in a new window
I don't know if this problem is with Coreldraw x7 or Win 8.1, but when I click on a CDR file from the "Connect" docker, it opens in a new Coreldraw window, so now I have two windows of coreldraw running. I only want one.
I just purchased a new computer with win 8.1 and upgraded to Coreldraw x7.
This causes some minor problems, but i can live with it.
Also, is there a way to lock the dockers to the CorelDRAW X7 window so they are not floating around?
Like in older versions with the Scrapbook docker which I am familiar with.

Font not found
I am running x6 on windows 7 64 bit. Recently Corel has started displaying (font not found) next to some of my fonts. When I open Bitsream Navigator it shows that the fonts are installed and in use. I have also checked and made sure that the fronts are installed on the computer itself. Has anyone else had this problem? Does anyone know how to fix this?
