Hi Everybody,
I am having constant problems with creating, saving, and restoring
workspaces in PP X6 64 bit. HELP is of no help.
1. I like to have a workspace with 7 new toolbars with about 45 icons.
2. In the process of making them, PP 64 bit gets all fouled up. It also
wipes out any intermediate workspaces that I have made.
3. If the computer crashes, it wipes out the workspaces which I made.
4. Then I have to go through the torture of making a new workspace with
all new toolbars and icons.
I have tried saving workspaces to a separate folder but they won't
open up again. *.xslt files no longer seem to exist.
PP X6 64 bit saves workspaces to C:\USERS --- etc. -- \PhotoPaint\
Workspace\name of workspace\6 files.
However, saving one of these workspaces to another folder and then
bringing it back with a new name does not work. It does not appear in the
list of workspaces.
QUESTIONS:
1. Is there a way to create workspaces without constantly disabling PP.
2. How in the world can you save a workspace to another folder and then
import it into PP. (.xslt files don't seem to exist anymore and bringing in
an old workspace into ---Workspace does not work either. Neither does the
Import command in Tools.)
Thanks for any help.
Phil
