Hello all!
I`ve just upgraded to X5 (from X3) and I`m more than pleased excepting one annoying thing.
I want to fast access one folder by typing the first few letters of it`s name. For example, I have a folder named "my work" and it has 470 sub folders in it (the sub folders represent my clients).
When I try to open a sub folder (let`s say the sub folder is called "wen")
- I click Ctrl+O from X5 and I go to "my work" folder
- I don`t want to scroll till I get to the folders which start with letter "w" so I try to type "w e n" and go to my desired folder
- But instead of going to the "wen" folder it gets me: after I press "w" to the "w" folders, and after I press "e" it takes me to the "e" folders and so on. So I always end up to the folder which starts with the last letter I type (in this case "n")
I tried to type "w e n" slower, normal and faster and it does the same.
Funny thing is that if I try (in the above manner) to reach the "wen" folder by typing "w e n" from my windows explorer it works. It also works from Illustrator CS5. But from X5 it doesn`t work.
I would really appreciate any of your suggestions.
All the best
