Settings for Corel Designer X5

Hi everybody!
I bought and installed Corel Designer X5 just a few days ago, so several questions appeared by now:
Can anybody give me a good advice, please?
I'm also using IsoDraw to illustrate, so i want to sort out if there are settings i can do very similar.
I import a vector-based file from an svg into the program. That works fine as the layers are kept as before.
Now my questions:
How can i change the name of an existing pen name?
How can i create a helping line that is not visible at printing (transparent)?
How can i change the pen-thickness by double-clicking on a line?
How can i create a 1bit or greyscale sheet, so no RGB or CMYK?
How can i change the color of a pen without printing it in that color (so just colored in the constuction-mode and printed black)?
