Hello,
I have just purchased a Roland EGX-30A rotary engraver and am trying to use Corel X6 rather than Dr. Engrave (Supplied software). The problem that I am having is that the engraver seems to have trouble printing curves or anything other than horizontal lines. For instance, when printing a rectangle with flat corners, the horizontal lines will print normally, but then all other lines seem to print one dot at a time in a horizontal pattern. I believe this is a raster pattern (?). Needless to say, this does not produce an acceptable result. Also, text with curves is a problem. "S"'s come out as a diagonal line and the others are not much better. I have attached an image of one of my test sheets to show what I mean.

Are there some settings that need to be adjusted in Corel to print with an engraver? Can I print directly from Corel X6 to the engraver?
Thanks!
