I'm a Corel reseller and one of my customers had an issue on a Win8 laptop where he was installing the X6 suite and an automatic Windows update interrupted the Corel install and it eventually shut down the PC while Corel was still trying to install. When he rebooted and tries to install he sees an error 1750 (I think that was the number) and says the program is partially installed and he needs to uninstall and retry. Only problem is Corel didn't get very far so it's not even listed in the Programs & Features menu in Windows. So you can't uninstall it. Are there any tools Corel provides to remove a botched install like this to get back to square one??
I hate telling someone they should run a 3rd party registry cleaner to fix an issue like that because I don't even know if such a thing would fix this issue, or cause more problems. Any advice would be appreciated!
