I have been hoping that Corel would fix what I believe is a bug in the export routine for quite a few revisions. I can't remember when the export problem did not exist but it was back before CD11 at least and probably further back than that. Anyway...
I regularly export to various bitmap formats and have multiple user presets for these. When I'm exporting, I typically have a half dozen or so drawings that I need to export using the same preset and do them all at once, one after the other.
As has always been the case, on the first export request, CD defaults to the last preset requested but unfortunately, the parameters for the preset, i.e., size, transparency, units, resolution, etc., are not used but instead, the parameters are for the full size drawing at the default 300dpi resolution.
To get the correct export parm's, one has to select any OTHER preset then, RE-select the desired preset in order for the parm's to be read from disk and change to the desired values. As I mentioned, this did not use to be the case some years back but has been a problem for at least the last three major revisions. Needless to say, this is a very tedious and frustrating problem that I would dearly love to see fixed. It would be SO much better if the parm's were read for the existing preset immediately upon selecting the export command and then only require a simple OK click to export the drawing SO much more quickly.
Thanks in advance,
