Can't activate VBA scripts....VBA Security options grayed out....

Hello,

I am new at using VBA codes to enhance Corel Draw. I found this free VBA code that will allow me to do what I’d like to do. Problem is, I can’t seem to install it….

Maybe someone can help out.

I am running windows 7, 64 bit, and I have corel Draw X6.

So this is what I did:

I copied the .gms file into this folder:

C:\Program Files\Corel\CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X6\Draw\GMS

(There were already two other .gms files in there)

Then I found some awesome instructions on how to install/use VBA codes. The link is here:

http://corelvba.com/index.php?get=set

I tried to follow the instructions. I went to the Tools drop down menu, selected “customization”

Then, went to COMMANDS and picked MACRO from the drop down menu….Then I am supposed to pick the macro from the list of available macros…But! I don’t see a list at all. I was expecting to see 3. Seeing there are 3 .gms files in the GMS folder.

Stumped, I started poking around and found the VBA section, under workspace in the customization menu. I saw that the “Trust all installed GMS modules” option was not checked. “Ah ha” I told myself “I found the problem, ha ha ha” But, to my great chagrin, the “Trust all installed GMS modules” is greyed out…and I cannot check it on. I tried un-clicking the Delay Load VBA (which was checked) to see if that would help, but it does not. The “Security Options” button is also greyed out.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Any help would be really appreciated. I will keep on looking!

Thanks everyone,

marie
