Corel Draw X6 shutting down when attempting to open Corel Draw v11 .cdr files

Everything I have designed/built in Corel Draw v11, will NOT open in Corel Draw X6.

If someone has a solution for this, I would love to hear it!

This is what I get when I try to open (File --> Open AND File --> Import) a Corel Draw v11 file from within Corel Draw X6.
